Relaunch Travel Award

1. General

By participating in the competition, you agree to these conditions of participation. Organizers of the competition are:

In order to participate in the contest, you must upload your video directly to the following platform:

The maximum number of contest entries per company is 1 video.

 

The video must be a minimum of 10 seconds and a maximum of 60 seconds long. Longer videos can be submitted, but the organizers reserve the right to shorten them.

 

To win:

 

1st Place: €50,000 worth of DOOH campaign on Framen on screens and locations selected by Framen and with duration selected by Framen. Prize provided by Framen. 

 

2nd place: DOOH campaign worth EUR 30,000 on Frames on screens and locations selected by Framen and with duration selected by Framen. Prize provided by Framen.

 

3rd place: B2B budget worth 20,000 EUR on Expipoint, to participate in online travel and networking events. Prize will be provided by Expipoint.

 

Contest period is May 10, 2021 to May 31, 2021.

 

Entry deadline is May 31, 2021 (midnight). Participation is free of charge and only possible once per company.

Companies in the travel or leisure industry are eligible to participate, although the organizers have the right not to admit companies and associations to the competition if there is any doubt as to their affiliation with the industry. The participating company is solely responsible for the accuracy of the data provided. Employees of the organizers or persons entrusted with the implementation of the competition and their relatives and life partners are excluded from participation. Also excluded are persons who provide false personal data, use unfair means or otherwise obtain advantages through manipulation. The use of multiple e-mail addresses to increase the chances of winning is not permitted. In the event of a breach of the conditions of participation, the organizers reserve the right to exclude companies from the competition and not to pay out prizes or to subsequently disallow and reclaim prizes.

A jury of 6 travel and media experts will evaluate the submitted videos according to the following criteria:

 

- Video Quality

- Creativity

- Relevance for the German market

- Suitability for the channels on which the videos will be promoted



After the end of the contest, the winner will be notified by email or phone.

The prize handover will be handled by direct contact between the winner and the respective prize sponsor.

The winner is obliged to contact the organizers within 14 (in words: fourteen) days after the prize notification. Otherwise, the claim to the prize will be forfeited. In this case, another participant will win.

 

Cash payment of the prize or prize substitution is not possible. The claim to the prize cannot be assigned.

 

2. Publication and usage rights

Within the scope of the competition, participants are invited to upload and/or send content. By uploading and sending content to the organizers, the participant declares that the content is created by him/herself and that he/she owns all rights to the content in question and is entitled to grant the content or the necessary rights to it to the organizers for the purpose of use and exploitation. The participant shall indemnify the organizers against any claims made by third parties on the basis of the exploitation and use of the content.

By uploading and/or sending the content to the organizers, the participant grants the organizers the right to process and use the uploaded content and the company name for the purposes of editorial reporting and advertising, regardless of whether the participant ultimately wins. The winner grants this right unlimited in time, place and content, i.e. not limited to advertising for this campaign or to a specific medium.

Specifically, the following rights are granted:

- the print right, i.e. the right to publish the content and the name of the participant in printed matter of all kinds and to reproduce and distribute it in any number of copies and editions, in particular in newspapers, magazines, supplements,

- the multimedia right, i.e. the right to reproduce and distribute the contents and the name in electronic storage media of all kinds (including interactive editions);

- the online right, i.e. the right to make the content and the participant's name available to a limited or unlimited group of recipients by means of digital transmission technologies of all kinds, either wirelessly or wired, in such a way that it can be accessed individually or collectively by third parties from locations and at times of their choice for reproduction by means of stationary or mobile terminal devices of all kinds (e.g. PCs, smartphones, tablets, TV devices, e-readers) and used in other ways (e.g. stored, forwarded or printed out). The rights of use relate in particular to tele- and media services, internet-based distribution platforms, mobile phone-based services, intranet, extranet, electronic press, SMS, MMS, apps (regardless of operating system), subscription services, podcasts, e-papers and e-books, news feeds, news tickers, RSS, newsletters, push and pull services, Twitter services, social networks (e.g. Facebook fan pages and so-called social plug-ins including the authority to allow third parties to share and recommend the content) and electronic press reviews;

- the database and archiving right, i.e. the right to archive the content and the name as part of electronic and analog databases together with other works and to make it available to third parties with the possibility of reproduction, downloading, retransmission and printing, regardless of the format (e.g. as PDF, TIFF, HTML, print);

- the broadcasting right, i.e., the right to make the content and the name of the subscriber available to the public through analog or digital broadcasts of any kind, e.g., sound and television broadcasting, regardless of the transmission path (e.g., terrestrial, cable, satellite, and Internet) and form (e.g., teletext, TV feeds, TV apps, live tickers, and interactive television). Included is the right to make the content and the name of the subscriber available to a limited group of recipients via so-called closed circuit TV or other technical processes, e.g., in waiting rooms, hotels, airplanes, train stations or public places;

- the right to advertise, i.e. the right to use the content and the name of the participant in media of all kinds (e.g. print, online, app, mobile and TV) for self-promotion purposes, as well as in advertising and promotional materials of all kinds, e.g..: Advertisements, advertisements, inserts, special publications, press releases, brochures, leaflets, catalogs, books, business letters, information to business partners, mailings, posters, flyers, displays, banners, roll-ups, electronic banners, skyscrapers, pop-ups, cinema, video, DVD, TV and radio spots, in-game advertising as well as at trade fairs, exhibitions, sales events, festivals and competitions;

- commercial exploitation through the production and distribution of goods of all kinds (merchandising)

- the editing right, i.e. the right to transform, shorten (e.g. in the form of abstracts), divide, cut out, combine with other works, translate, enlarge or reduce, watermark or otherwise edit the content while respecting the right of personality using analog or digital techniques;

- the right of reproduction, i.e. the right to reproduce the contents and the name of the participant in any way - including on other media than originally used - digitally or analogously, e.g. on paper, CDs, DVDs, USB sticks, hard disks or on servers, within the scope of the types of use listed.

- Transfer to third parties for publication, reproduction and distribution; granting of rights of use to third parties to the extent specified in this agreement.

The video owners will be contacted before having the video published by Framen. Once the videos are modified to fit the screens on which the campaign will run, the owner of the video will be contacted for approval.
The video owner has 48 hours to approve or not approve the changes. (added 18 May 2021)

There is no claim to publication of the content submitted by the participant.

3. Miscellaneous

The organizers reserve the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice in accordance with the following reasons. The organizers shall make use of this possibility in particular if a proper execution of the competition cannot be guaranteed for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons. In such a case, the participants are not entitled to any claims against the organizers. If such a termination is caused by the behavior of a participant, the organizers can demand compensation from this person for the damage incurred.

Legal recourse is excluded.

 

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany is exclusively applicable.

Data protection notice

According to Art. 4 No. 7 DSGVO, the organizers are responsible for the data processing carried out in the context of the competition.

The organizers process the participant's personal data transmitted in the course of participation for the purpose of conducting the competition and processing the prize in accordance with the conditions of participation. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO.

Insofar as the data transmitted by the participant is no longer required for the competition or further media evaluation and insofar as this does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations, the data will be deleted.

With regard to the processing of personal data concerning you, you have the right to information, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, as well as the right to data portability in accordance with the GDPR. In addition, you have the right of complaint to a data protection supervisory authority.
